modi: Prime Minister Modi set for 20 engagements during 45-hour visit to Indonesia’s Bali

Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, is set for a chock-a-block schedule during his visit to Indonesia‘s Bali, sources say. Modi is reportedly expected at 20 engagements in his 45 hour visit of the city.

The leader is reportedly meeting 10 world leaders as well as attending a community engagement with Indian diaspora in the island nation.

Modi will have a “hectic and productive” visit to Bali, an official source told PTI.

The Prime Minister is set for three key sessions – food and energy security, digital transformation and health – at the G20 summit, according to Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra.

Kwatra, at a media briefing, said that Modi and other leaders will discuss issues relating to the global economy, energy, environment, and digital transformation among others.

US President Joe Biden, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Chinese President Xi Jinping are all expected to be at the event.
