air quality: Delhi pollution: Air quality remains ‘very poor’, AQI stands above 350, says IMD scientist – The Economic Times Video

Amid the rising air pollution in Delhi, IMD senior scientist Rajendra Kumar Jenamani spoke about the low visibility at Delhi airport. A thick layer of smog surrounded parts of the National Capital on the morning of November 11 as Delhi’s air quality remained in the ‘very poor’ category with an overall Air Quality Index of 324. “Visibility in Delhi didn’t plummet too much, it was shallow fog in the morning, and it happens in Delhi. Winds are strong, and visibility has increased. AQI is 350 plus. The next western disturbance will come on November 13 and 14, so cloud presence will increase, but no rain expected,” said RK Jenamani, Senior Scientist, IMD.
